Jeuveau
Jeuveau is a popular wrinkle treatment that is injected in the muscles that cause frown lines to form.
Jeuveau prevents your nerves from telling your muscles to flex or contract. This process smooths the appearance of “dynamic” frown lines — like the ones from years of frowning at your phone.
The effects can last for up to 4 months while the muscle activity gradually returns. Average amount for glabellar (between the eyebrows or "11s" ), crow’s feet, and forehead range from 24 units to 40 units.
Daxxify
The latest and 5th injectable wrinkle reducer to the market, 2023. It's used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows. Until now, there never was an injectable wrinkle treatment formulated with a peptide. The Daxxify peptide helps stabilize the active ingredient, instead of using human blood products like conventional frown line treatments. It also has no animal byproducts. The peptide also enhances attachment of the active ingredient, acting like a magnet and making more toxin available to enter nerve cells. Average amount for glabellar (between the eyebrows or "11s" ), crow’s feet, and forehead range from 48 units to 80 units. (yet still costs equivalent to Botox)
